before there was dye remover which acted like mixing the same color. now dye remover is replaced with gray.

I did the same (with silver, and trading to split stacks up). Naturally, this is impossible under the new system.

It just means it's more realistic. IRL if you use 100ml of dye then the colour will be weaker than with 200ml of dye etc

I tried to redye most of my char's armors after this new dye system was put in.The problem is, with almost all of my characters, I found the perfect color, but that color was made by combining two dyes of the same color and no other dyes. Then I looked at it with just one of that color and it just wasn't the same.
I don't know about you guys, but I usually get two completely different colors when I use two of the same dye, compared to just one.
